Place is so good. Sandwiches are great and huge. Unlike most places you can leave with a sandwich a salad and a drink for under 20 bucks. Clean and fire sandwiches

Had a meet up with friends in the Concord for some pickleball. My friends who live in the area suggested a place for lunch after playing and I recommended a deli in Concord that my friend Harvey K. had suggested. They checked out the Yelp page and were impressed with the pics of the sandwiches and its high Yelp rating. It was set, we were coming here for lunch. So on a Thursday, the six of us arrived at 12:15pm. Not knowing if they would be able to have seating us, there were two tables of six and only two peeps were sitting at one table. So we sat at one table and two of us went up to the counter to order. Since it was the first time here for all of us, we had questions about the menu items, such as what was in the Italian Mix and what was in the Crab Salad sandwich. The owner, Mary, was cordial and described each sandwich. She said she would just take our orders and we could just pay afterwards since we were all together. The sandwiches starting coming out within 5 minutes. I got the Italian Mix on Dutch Crunch with everything except pepperoncini. I can see why this is Harvey's favorite. It was big and filled with Italian deli meats, salami, mortadella and even had prosciutto and topped with provolone. Seeing pics of how large it was, I shared it with the W and it was the perfect amount of food. When the sammie came, I said we were sharing it and they thoughtfully brought another basket over. Very nice! At our table, a couple of Italian Mixes, hot Pastrami, and Turkey sandwiches were ordered. Everyone was happy with their sammies and my friend even ordered two more sandwiches to bring back home for the kids. Parma reminded me of the old school Italian Delis in SF's North Beach. Nice to see this in Concord. I will be back if I'm in the area and my Concord friends have discovered a new place for sammies and will be back.

Found this deli on yelp and it did not disappoint!!! It was busy at 1:15pm on a Saturday, but they were efficient and the wait was not too long. The menu has lots of options, I feel like everyone should be able to find something they'll eat on it. The sandwiches are huge and could definitely each feed two adults -- the amount of meat on each sandwich was impressive! Ingredients were fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Located in a strip mall in Concord, Parma Delicatessen serves up the best sandwiches in Contra Costa County. It's a small local deli that is like "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. I came with Harvey K. Before noon and the place was busy. A blue collar crowd with lots of law enforcement clientele. I got the Italian Mix on Dutch crunch no mayo no mustard with olive oil and vinegar. The meats were piled high with peppercinis and olive spread. "Perfection"! It was so big I had to cut 1/4 of it to take home. Harvey got the meatball sandwich full of melted cheese and marinara on a toasted crust bun. The hot food looked delicious especially the meat loaf. Next time for sure. I liked this place when I first walked in blasting the Y2K country music satellite radio station.

True Italian family business. Food is great and prices are super reasonable considering the amount you get! Grab a table or take home.

So glad I finally made it out here after seeing the reviews on Yelp and posts on FB. This place did not disappoint. It was a small local deli with an abundance of yummy choices. We went for the Italian Mix sandwich, Pesto Chicken caprese panini and a Pepper Turkey sandwich. Everything was on point! Delicious and fresh ingredients. We met Mary the owner who was as friendly as can be. I will be coming back and will be bringing friends. Next time I'd like to try some of their Italian entrees being offered like meatloaf and mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs and some other hot pasta dishes. There was very limited seating hence it was more of a pick up your food & go place. Prices were on the higher side but you're getting a generous portion and it's made fresh.

This place is amazing. They seem to know everyone's name when customers walk in. Family owned. The meatball sub is massive! Best tasting meatballs I've ever had. Kind of small inside but definitely an authentic feel.

If you haven't been here yet, stop what you're doing, like literally stop reading this and just go down there. This is by far one the last true good delis around. They don't skimp on meat, they don't skimp on anything ! All they do is make the best food and sandwiches you can ever get. The staff, well that's the best part ! Get in there order yourself a sandwich, or try one of there many homemade foods as well. Also this was my order: My favorite sandwich, this a custom one by me salami, southwest turkey, pepperoni, and of course the works (add cream cheese and pepper jack)

Huge sandwiches made with care. Fresh ingredients, great bread, extensive customization. Deli staples in the display cooler like homemade potato salad, mac salad, antipasto salad, etc. They are very nice people that treat everyone like friends & family. You can tell this is a local tried and true establishment. It's busy with regulars, narrow with a row of tables to your left as you walk in. Lots of Niner and Giants love as decor. Only been here twice and I'm looking forward to coming again.

It makes sense why everyone comes here! The sandwiches here are FREAKING HUGE and super fulfilling as hell. I always get recommendations from my coworkers to check out all these places and it has taken me a while to finally come here and try it out. It's a classic deli and giving off East Coast family Italian vibes. They definitely have their usual customers because it's so cute seeing their regulars. You can very much tell this place has been around for quite some time and they all still come here. It does tend to get super busy in here, so be mindful of the space in there and also be patient. I had the sliced chicken sandwich with all their regular toppings and a side of potato salad. They are VERY generous with the chicken! Everything about this sandwich screams CHILDHOOD picnics as well as the potato salad. The potato salad is the perfect consistency, like the kind you would want at a BBQ. If you know what I mean, then you'll love their potato salad. I came here a second time and that's all I eat my sandwich with. I have yet to try their hot foods or panini, but everyone at work loves them so my next round here I for sure will be grabbing some. The owner did state that she makes their hot turkey ONLY on Monday's and Friday's, so that is my next return - LOL!
